More about Melissa

Melissa grew up in Somerset in England and has a love for performing and writing. Melissa was involved in numerous projects, from presenting on the radio station ‘Sedgemoor FM’, being involved in pantomimes such as ‘Peter Pan’ and ‘Babes in the Woods’ and doing plays such as ‘Two’ by Jim Cartwright.

At 19 she moved to Wales and received a Theatre, Television and Performance degree. While Melissa was there, she got involved in many projects. From being on Rownd a Rownd, to an advert on Heart FM, to performing in ‘Oh What a Lovely War’.

A while after this, Melissa moved up to Scotland, where she has been involved in many short films, audio projects, and plays. This includes the very successful play ‘Twenty People a Minute’, which was nominated for the Scottish Theatre Awards.

Melissa has currently written ‘The End is Near’, in which she is also acting. This is going to be performed at the Edinburgh Fringe and the Drayton Arms Theatre in London. She is incredibly excited about this opportunity and is ecstatic to see what the future will bring!
